Videozoom by WPZOOM is a responsive theme for bloggers, vloggers (video bloggers), and for anyone willing display self or remote hosted videos. The theme features a video slider, automatic video thumbnails, and easy video embed.
The theme supports two WordPress menus:
- Top Menu – above the header
- Main Menu – below the header
Both menus are left aligned.
Videozoom installs with five custom widgets:

The Social Widget allows you to enter URL to your profiles with Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, RSS, Email, Youtube, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Flickr, Pinterest, Behance, Tumblr, Instagram, and Soundcloud.
The theme incorporates seven widgetized areas:

- Footer Column 1
- Footer Column 2
- Footer Column 3
- Footer Column 4
With the Homepage widget area, you can compose your own custom homepage from the Featured Slider and one or more Homepage Posts widgets.
The Homepage Posts widget allows you to select posts from any category or tag. For each widget, you can set the number of posts to display, and show or hide the category, date, and excerpt. Basically, you can add any widget you like.
When you add the Social widget to the Header Social Icons widget area, the icons regarding are displayed at the right side of the Top Menu.
Videozoom extends the Add New/Edit Post Screen with three meta boxes:
- Post Options
- Post Layout
The Post Options include four settings. When you check the top most box, Feature on the Homepage, the post regarding will be included in the Homepage Slider.
The other three options are specifically intended for video posts. You can enter the video embed code, indicate whether the video is an External Video or Self-hosted, and select the Video Location in the post. The latter offers three possibilities: In the middle column, Before everything else, Hide video in post.
When you create a video post, you have to assign the WordPress Post Format Video. All other posts remain the default format Standard.
With the Post Layout you can change the default layout with sidebar to full width, without a sidebar.

The WPZOOM panel includes a Theme Options page and an Update Framework page – all themes by WPZOOM, are build upon the WPZOOM Framework.
The Theme Options comprehend eight tabs, offering you an easy way to configure the theme:
Your first choice at the Theme Settings of the General Settings is to opt for the default dark or light (white) color style. Here you also upload your logo, enter the URLs to your favicon, and your custom feed URL.
At the Video Setting, you select your preferred thumbnail size for the videos; small, medium, or large. Automatic Video Thumbnails are generated for YouTube, Vimeo, and DailyMotion.
The options regarding the Header Icons are moved to the Social widget.
The Global Posts Options within the General Settings allow you to hide or display the thumbnail, category, date, excerpt, and read more link of posts. In addition, you customize the excerpt length, which is default set to 50 words.
The Single Posts Options let you display or hide the post meta, post info, and comments. Next to that, you can also enable or disable the post share buttons for Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.
With the Homepage settings, you can further customize your homepage. You can enable or disable Recent Posts, and customize the title for these post, which are displayed below the Homepage Posts widgets – if any.
Other options let you exclude categories from the Recent Posts, hide Featured Posts in Recent Posts, so that these are not displayed more than once.
Last but not least, you can hide the sidebar on the homepage and archive pages.
The first option of the Slider Setting is to activate the slider. In addition, you can enter the number of slides to show, as well as the autoplay interval and select the transition effect – slide or fade.
Another nifty option, allows you control the behavior when the visitor hovers over a slide. When enabled, the slider will pause and display the meta data that you have selected; date, category, and Read More button.
Within the Styling Settings, you can customize the coloring and applied fonts. You can set your preferred colors for the text logo, links, links on hover, and widget title.
Videozoom lets you choose from about four dozen of fonts – web safe as well as Google Web Fonts – for general text, logo text, post titles, and widget titles.
At the Banners tab, you manage the Header and Sidebar Ads.
WPZOOM lets you opt for the built-in SEO settings or installing a third party plugin for your SEO. In the former case, you can tweak the SEO settings according to your preference or accept the default settings for the title tag, homepage meta, indexing, and canonical URLs.
With the Framework options you can configure some of the WPZOOM Framework options. You can for example disable shortcodes, typography preview, and update notifications for the framework as well as the theme.
The Import/Export options give you the means to backup, transfer and restore the settings of the theme itself as well as of the widgets.
