eBook by Templatic is a responsive theme for self-publishing authors willing to showcase and sell their work online. eBook comes with a widgitized homepage and support for WordPress Post Formats and WooCommerce.

Upon activation of the WooCommerce plugin, another series of widgets will become available to facilitate your online store.
The theme incorporates 21 widgetized areas:

The Subsidiary areas are basically widgetized footer columns, so you when you prefer to use such a footer, you can choose from two up to and including five columns.
The After Header areas serve a similar purpose, however, the contents of these areas is displayed between the Header and The Home Page Banner.
In order to create your custom homepage, you simply add the widgets of your choice to the widget areas available on the frontpage template:
- Home Page Bannner
- Featured Content
- Content Area One, Second, Third
With these areas, you can build your homepage like in the demo.
This Templatic theme offers the following page templates:

For every single page, and post, you can choose from four layouts:
- One Column
- Two Columns, Left
- Two Columns, Right
There is also a Templatic module at the bottom of the WordPress sidebar, which serves theme as well as framework updates. This Templatic panel also includes links to support resources.
The Theme Options are available through the WordPress Theme Customizer:

The Site Logo tab is where you can upload your logo and favicon. Instead of the logo you can also display the site title and tag line, which you can update at the Site Title & Tagline settings.
At the Templatic Theme Settings you have the ability to check or uncheck the following options: use the custom.css file, hide the auto-install, enable comments on pages and posts, show author biography on posts, show author biography on pages, display breadcrumbs.
With the Excerpt Settings you are able to display excerpts on the category and/or search pages in stead of the content.
The Layouts tab lets you set the global page layout. Your options are default, one column, and two columns with either a left or a right sidebar.
In case you prefer to apply a captcha on the contact form page, you are enable to activate this option at the Captcha settings.
At the 404 Page Setting you can enter the slug(s) of the page(s) you wish to display in case on the 404 Error Page in case of a ‘page not found’ situation.
All you have to do to display the Buy Now button in the right hand upper page corner is entering the desired text and target URL at the Ebook Theme Settings; the button will appear auto-magically at the right of the header navigation.
The Colors settings offer you the opportunity to customize the colorization of:
- Header background (soft blue by default)
- Body background
- Navigation, and buttons – including the pagination
- Headings and titles
- Sub Texts and links on hover
In case you want to use a background image, you can upload your file at the Background Image settings.
At the Navigation you can select your preferred WordPress Menu for the header and footer navigation.
In case you prefer to use a Static Frontpage, you can select that page as well as the blog page here.
The Footer serves a text box where you are able to customize the footer text. This can be done with HTM and/or shortcodes.

Upon activation you are offered the possibility to insert sample data. Although an excellent way to get acquainted with the features of the theme, this should not be done when you have entered content yourself already.
With Templatic, you can either purchase a single theme license or become a member of the Premium Themes Club.
The stated price of $49 is regarding the Standard License that allows you to use the theme on one domain.
The fee for the Developer License is $99. The major differences are that the Developer License comes with PSD files, and you are entitled to use the theme on an unlimited number of domains.
In both situations you are entitled to lifetime usage of the theme, but you will have access to updates and support for one year. It is possible to extend this period of updates and support for a yearly fee of 30% of the initial purchase price – so you do there is no need to repurchase the theme after the first year.
Another option is joining the Premium Themes Club; for an initial payment of $299 and a monthly fee of only $19, you will have access to all themes, PSD files, plugins, support and updates as long as you are a member of the club. More details are available on Templatic's The Club page.
You can always upgrade from a Standard or Developer License to the Premium Themes Club by paying just the difference.
