BootStart by Gabfire is a responsive theme for business websites featuring a minimalistic design, a highly customizable homepage and custom post types.
Gabfire BootStart supports natively one WordPress 3 menu; the Primary Navigation, which is right aligned in the header.
Gabfire supplies BootStart as lightweight as possible. For this reason, the theme installs with just the default WordPress widgets. However, by installing the Gabfire Widget Pack you have the ability to activate up to fourteen widgets, including:

The BootStart theme extends WordPress Post and Page screens with Gabfire Custom Fields that allow you to add a Video URL, set an entry as Featured, add a Subtitle, and enter details for your Call-to-Action; button text, button color, and button link.
The theme adds Featured posts and pages to the home page slider. You can add video URLs from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion or Screenr.
In addition, while creating or editing a Post you have the ability to choose a post layout. You can choose from Default, Big Picture, Left Sidebar, No Sidebar.
The BootStart theme adds two modules to the WordPress menu for its custom post types Testimonials and Team Members.
A Testimonials is composed from a title, an author name, a hyperlink to the site of the author or company, the testimony text and a Featured Image.
The Team Member post type lets you enter a Name & Surename, Position, Email address, Phone Number, and attach a Featured Image.
The Gabfire Theme Options comprehend 13 tabs with options to configure your theme:

The General Settings allow you to upload a logo and favicon and set your preferred padding for the logo. In case of a text base logo, you can enter the logo text and tagline here. In addition, you have the ability to enter the URL for your custom RSS Feed and Google Analytics Code.
At the Navigation you have the ability to set your preferred sorting order for the menu items. You can choose between ascending and descending and sort by category ID, name or post count. And when you want to exclude one or more categories, you enter the IDs regarding here.
The Categories tab is where you decide how to populate the homepage slider. You can select a specific category or tag, choose for recent posts or display those posts and/or pages that you have checked as Featured.
Another option here is setting the number of entries for the Testimonial slider on the homepage. These testimonials can either be displayed in random order or on date.
The Sliders settings allows you to tweak the homepage slider as well the innerpage slider. The options regarding the latter are: site wide, tag based or disabled.
Your first option at the Image Handling is enable the auto resize and display of Featured Images on single post pages. Next you can let the theme grab the first image and auto-generate a post thumbnail by enabling the Catch First Image. Another option allows you to choose between TimTumb and the WordPress Post Thumbnails.
The URLs to your social profiles at Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, and Pinterest are entered at the Social settings. The theme will display the icons regarding in the header right corner and directly above the widgetized footer – unless you disable one or both options.
At the Homepage tab, you get the opportunity to configure the two Call-to-Action bars on the homepage.
The Purchase bar is displayed beneath the Homepage slider, while Bottom bar is displayed above the Social bar and/or the widgetized Footer.
You can integrate any of the Fontawesome icons with you buttons. Disabling one or both of these Call-to-Action bars is of course also an option.
When you have enabled all options for the Homepage it will display:

The Site Body – 3 Column settings allows you to disable or compose the contents of the homepage section with the same name. For every column, you have the ability to select a Fontawesome icon, enter a title, subtitle and text.
The left column of the Site Body – 2 Column is managed from the About Us widget area, while the Testimonial slider is controlled at the Categories tab.
Besides the subtitle, the Site Body – 4 Column offer comparable options to the Site Body – 3 Column settings – including the Fontawesome icons.
At the Footer Options, you have the ability to enter or disable the Footer title above the Widgetized Footer. Here you also have the opportunity to customize the text at the left and at the right side of the footer.
By default, the index pages contain a content column and a sidebar. At the Miscellaneous tab, you have the ability to assign a two, three, and even four column layouts to selected categories by entering their IDs.
Other options here allow you to switch between the default stretched website layout and a boxed layout, enable shortcodes, as well as the Widget Map.
By enabling the Widget Map, not only the homepage, but every page template will display the available widgetized areas for the specific page.
